Product Introduction
Steel-plastic bidirectional geogrids are made by specially treating high-strength steel wires (or other fibers),
blending them with polyethylene (PE) or polypropylene (PP), and adding other additives. Through extrusion, they
are formed into composite high-strength tensile strips with rough textures on the surface, which are called high-
strength reinforced geogrids. From this single strip, it is woven or interlaced at certain intervals in the longitudinal
and transverse directions, and the junction points are welded by the reinforced bonding fusion welding technology
to form a reinforced geogrid.
Performance features
1.It features high strength, low creep, and adaptability to various soil environments, making it suitable for use as a
large retaining wall in high-grade highways.
2. It can effectively enhance the interlocking and biting effect of the reinforced bearing surface, significantly increase
the bearing capacity of the foundation, effectively restrain the lateral displacement of the soil, and improve the stability
of the foundation.
3.Compared with traditional grilles, it features high strength, strong load-bearing capacity, corrosion resistance, anti-
aging, large friction coefficient, uniform holes, convenient construction and long service life.
4. It is suitable for deep-sea operations and embankment reinforcement, solving the technical problems such as low
strength, poor corrosion resistance and short service life caused by long-term erosion by seawater when other materials
are used to make gabions.
5. It can effectively prevent construction damage caused by being crushed or damaged by machinery during the
construction process.
